Navy Co-operation

202 Squadron Crest Circa 1930's

202 Squadron was reformed on the 9th April 1920, at Alexandria in Egypt. It was converted to a Fleet co-operation unit flying Shorts 184 aircraft. Unfortunately, this role was short lived as, owing to cut backs, lack of manpower and the reluctance of the Royal Navy to work with shore based Squadrons , 202 Squadron was once again disbanded .

It would be eight years before 202 Squadron re-appeared on the Royal Air Force inventory
