All serving or former members of 202 Squadron are eligible for membership of the Association
Honorary members of 202 Squadron may be invited to be members at the discretion of the Committee
All surviving partners and immediate dependants of members or former members of 202 Squadron are eligible to be Associate Members
COMMITTEE
The Association has a Committee which has responsibility to the members for:
The management of the financial affairs of the Association
The planning and management of Association activities
The publication of an annual newsletter
The maintenance of a presence on the World Wide Web
The Committee will consist of:
Honorary President: A retired senior officer of 202 Squadron or another distinguished ex-member of the Squadron.
Chairman: responsible for overall police. Co-signatory of the Association bank account.
OC 202 Squadron: Advice, supervision of Association elections, scrutiny of financial activities.
Membership Secretary: Membership administration, minutes of meetings co-signatory of Association bank account.
Treasurer: Maintenance of Association accounts, preparation and issue of annual financial report, co-signatory of Association bank account.
Reunion Secretary: With the Chairman, planning and organisation of Association activities
Supplies Officer: Procuring and distributing souvenirs and other memorabilia.
202 Squadron Liaison Officer: Duties as directed by OC 202 Squadron.
Association Webmaster: Production and maintenance of Association website.
With the exception of the honorary President who will be invited by the Committee, and the ex-officio serving officers, the Committee will be elected biannually at the Annual General Meeting of the Association
FINANCIAL AUTHORITY AND PROCEDURES
The Association will eventually seek charitable status and its accounts will be audited accordingly. An Annual Financial Report is published to the membership, endorsed by the committee.
Annual subscription will be set initially at £10.00. Any changes to be agreed by a majority of the membership.
All cheque's drawn of the Association bank account are signed by any two of the Chairman, the Secretary or, the Treasurer
